What inspired you to start cycling? Watching the TDF after work on those warm summer evenings.

Favourite place to ride and why? South of France because the roads are good the weather is good and the food is good.

Favourite post-ride meal? Scrambled eggs.

What are your favourite Direct Nutrition products? Elite Hydrate Zesty Lemon & Lime flavour.

What is it about this Direct Nutrition product that you like? It's probably the best on the bike hydration drink I have ever used! Not only does it taste great but it's so refreshing and doesn't leave you with any more thirst or a horrible aftertaste that so many of these products can do. I've always suffered during racing with stomach cramps after consuming so much of these similar products but since using Direct Nutrition’s powders I've had no trouble what so ever, which leaves me with one less thing I have to worry about when racing! It's a reliable and great tasting product.

What is your advice to anyone who wants to become a professional racer? Don’t listen when people tell you that you can’t!

Who is your cycling hero and why? I don’t have one.

Do you have a nickname? Nope!

How do you take your coffee? Latte, flat white, espresso etc… Flat white, sometimes with vanilla.

Favourite music? Bit of everything, depends on the mood.

Favourite film? Recently, Nightcrawler.

Favourite race and why? Rutland CiCLE Classic, it’s unique.

What has been your proudest moment on the bike? Starting the Tour du Haut Var 2014.

What was your first bike? I was very young and can’t remember exactly but I remember it having a Raleigh badge on the front!

What would your go to karaoke song be? I would never do karaoke.

Most embarrassing moment on your bike? Testing a bike out in the local bike shop and splitting my chinos in half in the process.

If you weren't a cyclist what would you be doing instead? Master of the art of Carpentry.

What is the one thing in the world you couldn't live without? The Family.

If you could have one super power what would it be? To create more time so that if I ever had to choose between more time and more money it would allow me to choose more money!

Would you rather have more time or more money? More money!
